12 Nov 2020 by Stephen Nicholson in: Latest News

The Mid North Coast Presbytery will be meeting in person for the second time this year on Saturday 14 November, at Port Macquarie Uniting Church - under COVID-Safe requirements.

The Moderator, Rev Simon Hansford, will be present and will officiate in the delayed inductions of Rev Stephen Larkin, Rev Cherie Strudwick and Rev Claire Wright, who commenced ministries within the Presbytery following the imposition of COVID restrictions.

The gathering is also the Annual General Meeting of the Presbytery, including receipt of reports and election of office-bearers.  The current Chairperson, Rev John Thornton, is stepping down after 4 years as Chairperson.

Observers are welcome, but numbers are limited due to COVID, and pre-registration is required to ensure you don't get turned away.

To check if there is still space available, and to start your pre-registeration, ring Stephen Nicholson on mob 0439 818 622.

Do not attend if in the previous 14 days you have:

  • Had any COVID 19 symptoms OR
  • Been in contact with any confirmed/suspected COVID case OR
  • Travelled internationally.

We will require details for our attendance register, covering name, phone number, email address, home address, and whether you have downloaded and are using the COVID-Safe app.

[Updated: The meeting was live-streamed on Zoom.]

Video of the opening worship and inductions, and selected other parts of the meeting will be placed on the Youtube Church Online Mid North Coast channel.
